Prince Harry attends veterans’ mental health conference – Express

The Duke of Sussex will meet guests and speakers at the event, held at King's College London, including defence minister Tobias Ellwood who will give a talk on mental health initiatives. Harry will also listen to presentations focusing on how countries all over the world perceive military mental health. The Veterans' Mental Health Conference aims to bring people together to share ideas about how to best support the mental health of former military personnel.
He has also worked with the Ministry of Defence to help improve mental health support and train the armed forces.Last year, Harry gave the keynote address at the mental health conference, telling delegates that during his military service he had witnessed the suffering of those "struggling to seek out the help they desperately need".Prince Harry started the Invictus games in 2014, a sporting competition for wounded and ill servicemen and women where over 500 competitors take part in 13 sports.During last year's Invictus games opening ceremony in Sydney, the prince said: “Invictus has become about the example of service and dedication our competitors have provided to the world.“Our Invictus family has turned these Games into a symbol of strength, honour and optimism for a new generation.” ....
