The Queen shared a glimpse of the beautiful display of Christmas trees and decorations at Buckingham Palace’s Marble Hall on Twitter. However, etiquette expert William Hanson has said that decorations should go up “from December 17 onward” and disagrees with how early the royal family have put them up.
But the real problem was where the trees were placed.Mr Hanson said: "There is a correlation, I think, between how sophisticated a household is and when they put their tree up, although I am mortified to see that Buckingham Palace have put theirs up in their public areas."I’d be interested to know if they are up in their private quarters and I’d be surprised if they are.”The Christmas display features three Christmas trees - which were grown in Windsor - and a garland running along the grand staircase. The Queen has opted for regal decorations, crowns, crests and carriages, intricately decorated with red and gold jewels.Velvet ribbons, colourful baubles and sparkling white lights adorn the garland, completing the stunning festive decorations.Royal tradition suggests that the Queen and members of the Royal Family put the finishing touches on their Christmas tree.But speaking to Fabulous Online, Mr Hanson insists that the decorations were ....
